Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract; beat until combined.
  4. Stir in baking soda and salt until evenly distributed.
  5. Roll dough into small 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
