Intro: Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Pie

A classic creamy peanut butter pie with a rich, buttery crust and fluffy filling, perfect for a nostalgic dessert treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup or shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then mix until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined and fluffy.
  6. Pour the filling into the chilled crust and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Before serving, garnish with chopped peanuts and chocolate syrup or shavings if desired.

Notes

For an extra crunchy texture, sprinkle chopped peanuts on top just before serving or swirl in some melted chocolate for a peanut butter-chocolate twist.
