Gluten Free Chicken Tenders

Crispy and flavorful gluten free chicken tenders perfect for a healthy family dinner or a quick snack, coated with a crunchy gluten free breading.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup gluten free breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine gluten free flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, mix gluten free breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese if using.
  5. Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  7. Fry the chicken tenders for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, bake the tenders at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
