Garlic Butter Lemon Salmon

This Garlic Butter Lemon Salmon features tender, flaky salmon fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter and zesty lemon sauce, perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the salmon fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring frequently until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Add lemon juice and lemon zest to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the salmon.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a complete meal, serve with steamed vegetables or a fresh mixed greens salad. You can also add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
