Crockpot Buffalo Wings

Tender and flavorful, these Crockpot Buffalo Wings are slow-cooked to perfection and coated in a spicy, tangy buffalo sauce—an easy and crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds chicken wings, tips removed and wings separated
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Celery sticks, for serving
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken wings in the crockpot in a single layer.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the wings, tossing gently to coat well.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 to 3 hours, until wings are tender and cooked through.
  5. After cooking, carefully remove the wings and place them on a baking sheet lined with foil.
  6. Set your oven to broil. Broil wings for 2–3 minutes per side until sauce caramelizes and wings are slightly crispy.
  7. Serve wings hot with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, you can finish by tossing them in additional buffalo sauce after broiling. Serve immediately for best texture.
