Crock Pot Angel Chicken

Crock Pot Angel Chicken is a tender, flavorful slow-cooked chicken dish with a creamy sauce, perfect for an easy and comforting meal any day of the week.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet of dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles (optional, for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, dry onion soup mix, onion flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Before serving, shred or slice the chicken and stir it into the creamy sauce in the crock pot.
  6. Serve warm over cooked egg noodles, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of sliced mushrooms or a splash of white wine to the sauce before cooking.
