Chicken Wings

Crispy, flavorful chicken wings perfect for snacking or a game day treat, baked to golden perfection with a savory spice blend.

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil, placing a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
  6. Mix hot sauce and melted butter in a bowl. Toss baked wings in the sauce mixture for a spicy glaze, if desired.
  7. Serve hot with celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking but watch closely to avoid burning.
