Cheeseburger Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

These cheesy, juicy cheeseburger sliders on sweet Hawaiian rolls make a perfect bite-sized treat for any occasion, combining classic flavors with a soft, fluffy bun.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pickle slices (optional)
  • Butter for brushing rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 small patties slightly larger than slider rolls.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  4. Place cooked patties on the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls.
  5. Top each patty with a half slice of cheddar cheese; cover the pan to melt cheese for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Spread ketchup and mustard on the inside of the top halves of the rolls.
  7. Assemble sliders and add a pickle slice if desired.
  8. Place assembled sliders on a baking sheet; brush tops with melted butter.
  9. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes to warm through and slightly toast the rolls.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

For extra flavor, add caramelized onions or a dash of smoked paprika to the beef mixture.
